About The Position

This role is responsible for demonstrating safety behaviors with a focus on zero injuries and OSHA compliance. The position requires following and complying with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). It involves working with and participating in implementing PSM, including HazWhoper response team, and sustaining training for HazWhoper response. Key responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant systems such as drains, pipes, and wastewater. The role also involves monitoring and documenting various systems, troubleshooting to identify defects, and creating plans to eliminate them. Active support of the Conagra Performance System (CPS) process, including 5S, CIL, Centerline, BDA, Safety, and QA, is expected. The position requires adjusting manual controls or overriding automatic controls to maintain equipment within recommended ranges, switching to backup systems, or shutting down equipment. Regular inspections of equipment to detect malfunctions or the need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication are necessary. Maintenance activities include adjustments, lubrication, repairs, and managing controls. Safety checks of the grounds and facility are also part of the duties. The role involves requisitioning spare parts, materials, and supplies, and recording maintenance and operations activities. Support for the PM Pillar and Autonomous maintenance functions of CPS is required, along with other duties as directed by Maintenance Manager(s). Overtime may be required to achieve production, sanitation, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

  • Troubleshoot to identify defects, create a plan to eliminate identified defects.
  • Actively support the Conagra Performance System (CPS) process: 5S, CIL, Centerline, BDA, Safety, QA, etc.
  • Adjust manual controls or override automatic controls to bring equipment into recommended or prescribed operating ranges, switch to backup equipment or systems, or to shutdown equipment.
  • Inspect equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.
  • Maintain equipment via adjustments, lubrication, repairs, managing controls, etc.
  • Safety checks of the grounds and facility
  • Requisition spare parts, materials, and supplies as required.
  • Record maintenance and operations activities.
  • Support 5S in the Maintenance Department, create and Execute a Personal Action Plan
  • Support Break Down Elimination DMS
  • Work overtime as required to achieve production, sanitation, and maintenance schedules.
  • Provide support for the PM Pillar and Autonomous maintenance functions of CPS and other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager(s).

  • Working knowledge of HVAC, air intakes, exhaust fans is a plus.
