About The Position

The Facility Associate I primarily works in the facility’s processing and production area, handling a variety of donated goods, and/or on the sales floor stocking shelves and providing customer service. The role may involve merchandise stocking, tagging and ticketing items, and assisting customers. A background check is required.

Must pass a background check.
Demonstrate willingness and ability to follow organizational directives, rules, policies, procedures, and standards.
Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment.
Comply with applicable health, safety, fire, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service and adhere to Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest directives, rules, policies, procedures, and departmental and organizational standards.
Transport merchandise to and from the sales floor.
Place items on shelves, floor fixtures, or racks, and face displays according to standards.
Remove old items from displays and place them in totes or carts as assigned.
Assist at the cash register by wrapping or bagging merchandise.
Provide carry-out service as needed.
Prepare items for sale by hanging clothing, cleaning items as needed, and bagging items that should be kept together.
Tag, mark, or code items selected for sale according to designated prices and merchandise type.
Tally quantities or prices of processed items.
Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services.
Follow Goodwill policies, procedures, and directives to help assure the safety of personnel and property.
Properly wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain agency confidentiality; violations may result in immediate dismissal.
Comply with health, safety, and fire standards and applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including WISHA and OSHA.
Perform other duties as assigned.
