About The Position
Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated Facility Assistant for their Crop Inputs facility in Sedgewick, AB. P&H is a family-owned Canadian agri-business with over 115 years of history, operating across grain merchandising, flour milling, crop input distribution, and animal feed production with over 80 locations nationwide and global trade links. Requirements
- Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
- Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a customer service role is a plus
Responsibilities
- Handling, unloading and delivering crop inputs products
- Assisting in warehouse operations: sorting seed, stacking chemicals, transferring bulk product into totes
- Preparing custom application equipment
- Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
- Performing exceptional customer service duties
