About The Position

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Asset Management Program Manager to lead the execution, growth, and delivery of complex facility asset management programs for key clients across the Western U.S. The Program Manager role requires California PE or RA licensure. This isn’t just facility assessment project management - this is program ownership. You will serve as the face of the client relationship, bringing sharp business acumen, operational discipline, and strategic foresight to every engagement. You’ll connect the dots between client goals, technical execution, and long-term portfolio value ensuring what we deliver doesn’t just check boxes, but drives decisions. You’ll operate at the intersection of client strategy, sales partnership, and technical delivery, ensuring seamless execution while identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen client relationships. Our Asset Management division delivers critical insights through facility assessments, energy consulting, and lifecycle asset analysis across government, education, commercial, and industrial sectors. Your Impact: You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of Architects, Engineers, Energy Managers, and Building Analysts - but more importantly, you’ll own the outcome. Translating client needs into executable programs Ensuring delivery aligns with both technical standards and business objectives Driving consistency, quality, and accountability across multiple concurrent projects This role requires someone who can zoom out to see the portfolio strategy and zoom in when execution needs tightening.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field (strongly preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex projects and teams
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience conducting facility/building assessments (K-12, Higher Ed, or Government preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to own and grow client relationships, not just manage tasks
  • Strong business and financial acumen — understands how projects tie to client budgets, capital planning, and ROI
  • Deep knowledge of facilities operations, maintenance practices, and building systems
  • Experience working with public sector, institutional, and government clients
  • Familiarity with CMMS and asset data systems
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams with clarity, accountability, and influence
  • Required: Registered Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (PE), or Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
  • Previous experience leading large-scale programs with multi-site logistics
  • Must reside in California or the Western US, or be willing to relocate.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Own the client relationship end-to-end and serve as the primary point of contact, trusted advisor, and escalation lead.
  • Bring strong business acumen to every program, aligning deliverables with client financial, operational, and strategic goals.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of asset management programs, from proposal development through execution and closeout.
  • Partner closely with Sales to shape scopes, identify growth opportunities, and expand existing accounts.
  • Develop tailored scopes of work and solutions aligned with client needs and portfolio strategy.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams conducting facility and building system assessments.
  • Oversee capital planning, lifecycle analysis, ADA assessments, and preventive maintenance program development.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of technical accuracy, consistency, and client expectations.
  • Manage complex, multi-site programs across public and private sector clients.
  • Drive accountability across teams — schedules, quality, and performance are yours to own.
  • Travel ~25% to client sites nationwide.
