Boonsboro Country Club is seeking a highly motivated Facility & Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance, functionality, and daily operations of our beautiful club facilities. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a self-starter who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and is committed to providing members and guests with exceptional club experience. This is a hands-on working position with the overall mission to be the leader of the club’s continuous maintenance program enabling it to be recognized as the premier club the area.   • Basic working knowledge of: HVAC systems, Plumbing systems, Electrical systems, General building maintenance and repair
  • Ability to diagnose and coordinate repairs for facility-related issues.
  • Experience operating maintenance equipment and tools safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in facilities, operations, maintenance management, or a related field.
  • Experience supervising maintenance personnel or contractors.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and facility management best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness and operation of all club facilities, buildings, and grounds, as well as the opening of the clubhouse buildings
  • Manage a team of 5-7 people based on season to ensure quality standards are met, train and schedule the team and lead by example while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Coordinate and perform repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
  • Maintain and monitor fire, phone, data, music, cable, and TV systems for all facilities.
  • Conduct daily facility “walkabouts” and specific site inspections on an as-needed basis.
  • Maintain work order tracking daily
  • Work with pool contractor on pool repairs. oversees opening and closing of pool related to furniture, bath houses, painting, and service needs
  • Establish an equipment service schedule and maintenance log for all mechanical and kitchen equipment across the entire club facility to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Manage relationships with outside contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and club standards.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies including after hours
  • Assist with planning and execution of facility improvement and capital projects.
  • Monitor maintenance budgets, control costs, and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Partner with department managers to support club events, operations, and member needs.
  • Manage Linen inventory and ordering
  • Direct room and buffet set up for Member Events
