Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other. For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries. We are searching for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to work in our residential program located in Riverton, UT. This position is responsible for overseeing all renovations, repairs, preventive maintenance and construction projects for Collage’s houses, apartments and office spaces as assigned. This role holds responsibility for the overall condition and maintenance of the company’s buildings and grounds; and oversees the procurement process and upkeep of necessary equipment and supplies. This position directly performs routine maintenance, repair work and other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Two to three years’ work experience in facilities maintenance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all renovations, repairs, preventive maintenance and construction projects for Collage’s houses, apartments and office spaces as assigned.
  • Responsibility for the overall condition and maintenance of the company’s buildings and grounds.
  • Oversees the procurement process and upkeep of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Directly performs routine maintenance, repair work and other related tasks as needed.
  • Work experience and advanced training in at least two of the following trades: plumbing, electric, carpentry and painting.
  • Occasionally required to sit; frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, stand and walk.
  • Ability to handle and organize multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel and/or operate a vehicle for up to 20% of the time spent working in this position.
