About The Position

Hollywood Park is a nearly 300-acre sports and entertainment destination being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke, with SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. It is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States, planned to include residences, a hotel, retail, office space, and public parks. SoFi Stadium hosts world-renowned sporting and entertainment events and is set to host major upcoming events including FIFA World Cup '26 matches, Super Bowl LXI in 2027, and the 2028 Olympic Games. Adjacent to the stadium is the American Airlines Plaza and the YouTube Theater. This paid internship program aims to foster emerging talent and develop future leaders in the sports and entertainment industry. It is designed for undergraduate juniors, seniors, recent graduates, or master’s degree students who are passionate about creating extraordinary experiences. Interns will work with specific departments at the Inglewood, CA offices, gaining behind-the-scenes experience, knowledge of the business, and exploring career opportunities. The Event Operations Intern will support management, coordination, and logistics teams in maintaining a high-standard, event-ready facility. This role involves assisting with critical tasks such as inventory coordination, floor plan accuracy, staff scheduling, and dock logistics, ensuring seamless communication and execution. It offers hands-on experience in venue operations, ideal for someone eager to streamline systems and assist with large-scale event operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, recently graduated, or master’s degree student
  • Pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Facility Management, Arts & Entertainment Management or similar area of study
  • Must be able to travel to the YouTube Theater and SoFi Stadium offices in Inglewood, CA at least 2-3 times per week

Responsibilities

  • Assist with floor plans to ensure architectural layouts match real-world setups for event readiness.
  • Assist with event settlements, allocating vendor invoices, and building labor cost estimates.
  • Streamline inventory systems for high-volume supplies and assist with the physical flow of assets.
  • Assist with staff schedules, facilitate internal meetings, and coordinate with multiple departments.
