About The Position
The Facility and Building Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's facilities. This includes overseeing maintenance and repairs, managing vendor contracts, supervising maintenance and janitorial staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. The Facility and Building Manager will also develop and implement emergency procedures, manage the facilities budget, coordinate renovations and construction projects, and ensure the safety and security of the building.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in facilities management
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient with basic computer systems (email, Microsoft Office applications)
- Strong problem-solving skills
