About The Position

Perform a variety of tasks centered on the setup and teardown of classrooms and meeting rooms, including the worship center, used to conduct ministry and events approved for outside groups. Provide assistance to ministry representatives with facilities-related matters as work priorities permit, including transferring ministry supplies between buildings and retrieval from storage. Assist in maintaining orderliness and appearance of campus and office premises, including classrooms, meeting rooms, storage facilities, and exterior grounds. Assist in staff offices/campus security – verifying all outside entrances are secure and locked as directed by supervisor. Assist in performing clean-up as directed to support contract custodial services. Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
  • Ability to keep the campus and offices clean and orderly.
  • Ability to interact with staff, students, and congregation with a professional, polite, and courteous attitude.

  • Able to be flexible and work in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

  • Maintain open and frequent communication with your supervisor, other staff, and volunteer team leaders and members.
