About The Position

Sun River Health is seeking a full-time Facilities Worker to join our team at our Wappingers Falls site. Under general supervision, this role uses limited experience and judgment to perform a variety of building and maintenance duties, including operating hand and power tools.

Requirements

High school diploma/ GED
Work-Related Experience: 2-4 years
Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Respond timely to all troubleshoot and repair facility, grounds, and equipment requests for assigned regions as directed by the Director of Support Services
Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and site facilities
Perform highly diversified duties to inspect, testing, maintain, install and repair facilities and its equipment
Perform basic rough carpentry and plumbing functions.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of equipment
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
Repairs and replaces defective parts of the physical structure utilizing hand tools, power tools, ladders, electrical drills, grinders, power snakes and electrical meters
Coverage of after-hours emergencies.
Responsible for fleet vehicle maintenance.
Acts as the warden during SRH codes.
Comply with all infection control, safety, and OSHA standards and maintain cleans and order work areas, including keeping tools, equipment, and mechanical rooms in safe, clean, and organized working condition
Repairs and maintains in accordance with sketches, diagrams, manufacturers specifications, departmental procedures and standards
Responsible for assisting in ordering supplies and materials in relations to repairs or preventive maintenance in accordance with departmental procedures
