About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the warehouse and maintenance departments. The Utility Worker will assist with receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment. They will also perform general maintenance and repair tasks as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the facilities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
Familiarity with general maintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a warehouse or maintenance environment.
Experience operating a forklift.
Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and stock incoming supplies and equipment.
Pick, pack, and distribute materials to various departments.
Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if applicable and trained).
Perform general cleaning and organization of warehouse and maintenance areas.
Assist maintenance staff with basic repairs and upkeep of facilities.
Respond to maintenance requests and work orders.
Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
