About The Position

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility MEP systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, pumps, and utility systems, within a laboratory facility environment. This role involves performing routine inspections, identifying maintenance or repair needs, and documenting all work activities in the CMMS. The technician will also respond to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and facility emergencies to restore safe operation.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a maintenance technician or skilled trade within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Basic knowledge in two of the following areas: electrical, plumbing/pipefitting, wastewater operations, HVAC-R, boilers/steam systems, RODI/WFI systems, autoclaves, Building Management Systems, Pumps.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a facilities or skilled trades maintenance technician in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
Working knowledge in at least two of the following: electrical systems, HVAC?R, plumbing/pipefitting, boilers/steam systems, wastewater systems, pumps, controls, or RODI/WFI.

Responsibilities
