Facilities Technician
About The Position
Western Sierra Medical Clinic is an engaging, enthusiastic, mission driven organization dedicated to providing high-quality primary care to all members of our community. This includes the delivery of evidence-based preventative care, chronic disease management, and addressing urgent care needs as indicated for our pediatric and adult patient population. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES The Facilities Technician participates in a wide variety of facilities service activities, including, but not limited to, maintenance, custodial, grounds, and event tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Abilities to lift 50 pounds, squat, stoop, climb ladders and carry materials and tools.
- Basic computer skills
- Availability to occasionally work evening, weekend, and/or overtime.
- Current California Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Completes assigned facilities tasks in a competent and timely manner.
- Examples of tasks include: General repairs Lighting adjustments Painting Assembling furniture Moving clinic assets Light carpentry work Supporting outside contractors Other tasks as assigned
- Occasionally expected to complete assigned custodial tasks in a timely manner
- Occasionally expected to assist the grounds crew as assigned
- Completes assigned even setups and tear downs
- Assists with A/V setup and provides occasional support during events
- Completes assigned work orders in a competent and timely manner
- Completes additional reasonable tasks and duties as required.
- Will need to travel to multiple locations
