About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Fremont Street Experience and related properties by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility projects. This role provides technical expertise and supports the Engineering Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building systems.

Requirements

Relevant experience and/or formal training in facility maintenance or related fields.
Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Successful completion of a pre-employment substance screening and background investigation is required.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Support facility projects from planning through completion in coordination with the Director of Mall Operations.
Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, business periodicals, and professional journals to apply best practices.
Prepare clear, professional reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Communicate effectively with senior management, vendors, guests, customers, and staff; present information and respond to inquiries.
Exercise sound judgment and independent problem-solving skills; think creatively to resolve complex issues.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with the public and team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
