About The Position

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is seeking a dependable, quality-focused Facilities Tech / Porter to join their team at Battlefield Towers, a community of 92 apartment homes for seniors. The role is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of assigned tasks and continuous self-improvement. The ideal candidate will uphold the community to the highest standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of janitorial experience.
Must report to work at regularly scheduled work hours.
Must have the physical capability to walk the property (including stairs) and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.

Nice To Haves

Maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Sweep/vacuum all public areas, stairways, halls, laundry rooms, building entrances, and trash rooms daily.
Wet mop/vacuum public areas of all buildings three or four times a week, depending on usage and appearance.
Dust and wet rag clean washers and dryers in laundry rooms weekly; remove empty soap boxes and trash daily.
Dust light fixtures weekly and clean of insects monthly. Replace light bulbs as needed.
Clean mailbox fronts and public walls or halls monthly; scrub trash room walls, including trash door areas, monthly.
Clean, treat, and service the pool according to the supervisor's schedule.
Pick up trash on grounds and in common areas daily or more often as necessary.
Report and replace missing light bulbs, building damage or vandalism, unusual circumstances and conditions, and other related incidents in writing to the supervisor.
Collaborate with Directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Facilities Director.
Satisfy work orders promptly and efficiently.
Assist in the make-ready process of vacant apartments to prepare them for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
Adhere to all company policies, including safety practices.
