About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the building’s physical infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This role ensures the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Effective interpersonal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, stretch, and climb ladder
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Clean driving record and Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle (Use of personal vehicle required for carrying out daily duties, with monthly mileage reimbursement from bank)
Maintain minimum automobile liability insurance with limits of $100,000/$300,000
Must be able to provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and customers both verbally and in written format.
Must be able to interact with the public utilizing various methods of communication.
Employee may be required to squat and remain in that position for short periods of time while working.
Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
Must have the attention span to stay alert and attentive during a normal 8-hour workday.
Must be able to follow instructions and procedures exactly as trained or directed by his or her supervisor.
Must be able to listen to, grasp, and respond positively to supervision and instructions by Management.
Physical and cognitive ability to perform the essential duties and functions of his/her job.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building and building systems.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues, hazards, or needed repairs. May include, but not limited to: painting, light bulb replacements, general repairs, air filter changes, etc.
Build and distribute construction signage for loan customers.
Coordinate with licensed professionals where tasks cannot be handled by the Facilities Technician (i.e. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Pressure washing of parking lots and building.
Trimming of trees on grounds.
Assist in the moving, install, and tear down of season decorations inside and outside of the bank.
Maintain and organize Main Office Maintenance Facility.
Monitor and maintain inventory of bank owned tools, materials, and supplies.
Respond to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergencies in a timely manner.
Assist bank staff with offsite setups for events.
Coordinate with facilities team on the daily inspection of all exterior premises daily, including drive-in lanes and parking lots, and address areas that need attention for both appearance and safety, including but not limited to the following: Pick up all litter every morning and otherwise as needed.
Making occasional deliveries/pickups to/from bank customers/vendors.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Inspect and clean the faces of each ATM and Night Depository.
Inspect ATMs daily for any signs of tampering, including possible card skimmers and unauthorized cameras.
Report any signs of tampering or vandalism to supervisor immediately.
Inspect: public entrance door handles, glass and surrounding areas and spot cleaning as necessary, marketing banners and flags, fountains, flower beds and remove weeds and litter in between service by third party vendors.
Securely and safely courier mail directly to and from the Post office according to schedule. Vehicle is to always remain locked while in transport. (when needed)
Securely and safely transport courier work between assigned bank locations according to schedule. All branch work must be in locked bags for transport between locations. Keys to access the bags are maintained within each branch and never with the bags in transit. Vehicle to always remain locked when Bank items are in transit. (when needed)
