Requirements

High school or equivalent
2+ years of specialized training in building maintenance, construction, or environmental control systems
3+ years of experience in custodial work, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or related maintenance fields OR An equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have the ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Ensure county buildings are safe and functional.
Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, painting, welding, and general repairs.
Handle custodial tasks.
Perform seasonal duties like snow removal and weed control.
Maintain parks and cemetery grounds through mowing, irrigation, landscaping, and equipment operation.
