About The Position

Our Facilities team is the backbone that maintains safe, functional, and welcoming environments across all our locations, ensuring our programs can effectively serve children, families, and individuals in our community. This role involves performing essential maintenance and repairs across BAMSI’s network of locations, ensuring every site is safe, operational, and well-maintained.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED and at least 1 year of hands-on experience in property/building maintenance.
General aptitude across multiple trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) with demonstrated competency in at least two areas.
Proficiency with hand and power tools is required.
A strong, self-directed work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a professional, customer-service oriented attitude.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
Ability to pass a background check (CORI).

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of maintenance duties including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
Proactively identify and complete preventative maintenance tasks using our digital work order system (FinishLinePro).
Respond promptly to emergency repair situations and provide on-call coverage on a rotating basis.
Maintain clear communication and professional relationships with program staff and stakeholders.
Safely operate BAMSI vehicles and responsibly maintain all tools, equipment, and property.
