About The Position

Responsible for supporting warehouse operations through expert maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE) and facility systems. This role focuses on keeping forklifts and related equipment fully operational, driving preventative maintenance programs, managing parts inventory, and supporting equipment needs across Neighbor Island operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • MHE or forklift repair experience strongly preferred
  • Certification with Raymond or similar equipment manufacturer preferred
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and systems
  • Ability to manage parts inventory and vendor relationships
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in active warehouse environments
  • Exposure to industrial conditions
  • Willingness to travel for Neighbor Island support

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and service forklifts and all warehouse material handling equipment
  • Maintain and obtain required Raymond certifications and stay current on all OEM updates
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and extend equipment life
  • Track equipment performance and identify recurring issues
  • Develop and execute structured preventative maintenance schedules for all MHE
  • Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation
  • Partner with operations leaders to minimize downtime and disruptions
  • Manage inventory of parts and supplies required for equipment maintenance
  • Establish ordering processes to ensure critical parts availability
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to source parts and control costs
  • Coordinate and support maintenance for equipment across Neighbor Island operations
  • Partner with local teams and vendors to ensure consistency in equipment performance
  • Travel as needed to support major repairs or maintenance initiatives
  • Perform basic facility maintenance including docks, doors, lighting, and building systems
  • Coordinate larger repairs with external vendors as needed
  • Follow all company safety procedures and report incidents
  • Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
  • Maintain professionalism and accountability
  • Commitment to continuous learning and certification maintenance
