The purpose of the Facilities Technician is to execute projects as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor, or Manager if the Supervisor is unavailable, that provide daily and ongoing operations and maintenance for the museum complex. The difference between a Level I, Level II, or Level III Technician is based on a combination of education and experience. This position ensures the general maintenance and repair of the grounds, buildings and building systems of the Denver Art Museum. This position also provides support services for events, school group reception, visitor services, exhibitions and collections and duties as assigned in a dynamic ever-changing museum program. The role of the Facility Technician includes responsibility for maintaining safe working practices and ensuring that safety protocols are always followed. This position reports to and collaborates with the Facility Manager in the Facilities Department. Position type: This position be covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME-CWU.
