About The Position

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is seeking a dependable, quality-focused Facilities Technician for St. Andrews Towers, a senior community with 216 apartment homes for residents age 62 and older, in Panama City, Florida. The technician performs tasks assigned by the Community Director and/or Facilities Director and is expected to continually improve their skills and expertise while maintaining the community to high standards.

The position works with Directors on maintenance and capital improvement activities, performs preventive maintenance and equipment inspections, completes work orders, and helps prepare vacant apartments for new residents. Candidates must be able to work their regularly scheduled hours and perform regular physical tasks throughout the property.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of property maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and appliances, including stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators.
• Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to deal effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Must have their own tools.
• Ability to report to work at regularly scheduled hours.
• Physical capability to walk throughout the property, including stairs, lift heavy items, and regularly perform a variety of physical tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Directors to manage maintenance-related and capital improvement activities at the assigned property.
• Inspect, schedule, and perform routine preventive maintenance on appropriate equipment as needed or directed.
• Satisfy work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Maintain and continuously improve relevant skills and expertise.
• Walk throughout the property, including on stairs, and perform physical tasks as needed.
