Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 3+ years experience in routine maintenance and repair of production equipment.
  • Ability to read prints, schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience using tools required for position.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Passionate about fitness and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in multitasking, driven by self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Committed to continuous personal development.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in multiple languages is favored.
  • Certification in Cybex, Life Fitness, and/or Matrix.

Responsibilities

  • Perform building upkeep, including plumbing, painting, electrical, and structural repairs.
  • Follow work assignments for maintenance service requests on equipment.
  • Inspect and diagnose problems with complex machinery and equipment.
  • Disassemble and repair malfunctioning machines or equipment.
  • Apply preventative steps to reduce future building issues.
  • Address potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
  • Ensure proper operation of all club areas.
  • Assist with monthly AED and fire extinguisher checks.
  • Work with General Manager to discuss maintenance needs and keep a log of tasks.
  • Maintain detailed records on all equipment.
  • Source repair parts, tools, and materials.
  • Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs and climb ladders for equipment servicing.
  • Conduct monthly OSHA safety inspections.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
  • Use of hand tools including but not limited to voltmeters, welders, pressure gauges, voltmeters, and building materials.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interact positively with team members and members.
  • Demonstrate Intermediate computer literacy skills for use of job-related software and technology.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
