About The Position

Recreation & Wellbeing is ready to hire a self-motivated Facility Technician II with a passion for working on a variety of tasks in different settings and a wide range of possibilities. We are looking for a mechanically inclined team member and offer on-the-job training for those willing to learn and expand their skill set. Requirements

• At least 3 years of relative experience
• Ability to independently perform fitness equipment repair or mechanical/electrical diagnostics and repair
• Independently perform skilled repair and maintenance tasks such as light carpentry, painting, fixture and furniture installation, and general facilities upkeep
• Independently troubleshoots, escalates, and documents issues according to established policies and procedures
• Independently receives, inspects, inventories, and distributes deliveries to appropriate entities
• Assists trades, crafts, vendors, and technical staff with construction, design, and operational maintenance as needed
• Independently performs basic and routine computer related tasks daily
• Properly troubleshoot equipment and facility issues without oversight

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, inventories, and distributes deliveries to appropriate entities under general supervision
• Troubleshoots, escalates, and documents issues according to established policies and procedures
• Performs routine facility inspections and monitors cleanliness
• Utilizes equipment to repair and maintain standard machinery, equipment, and facility property to prevent further damage and ensure optimal operation
• Assists trades, crafts, vendors, and technical staff with construction, design, and operational maintenance as needed
