Facilities Technician - Gas
About The Position
onsemi is seeking a Gas Facilities Technician in our Hopewell Junction, EFK, NY. As a Gas Facilities Technician, tasks will include, but are not limited to, the continuous operation and maintenance of the following systems: Inert gas farms, specialty gas delivery systems, bulk gas delivery systems, gas plumbing, and other auxiliary equipment and controllers that support gas chemistry delivery to fab manufacturing. This technician will be responsible for proper system operation, routine cylinder changes, preventive and corrective maintenance, and responding to and troubleshooting system alarms and controls. Primary work activities will be supporting daily operations through cylinder changes and equipment maintenance. Technicians must be able to work in a team environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills and schedule flexibility are important, as weekend coverage will be required.
