About The Position

The Missile Solutions Segment of L3Harris is seeking a Facilities Technician C (HVAC) to join their team in Orange, VA. This role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant HVAC equipment using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics, and locally generated instructions. Candidates should be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Responsibilities include following work procedures, maintaining facilities and production equipment, and performing general maintenance tasks. The position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior HVAC experience, OR 2 years of post-secondary/associate degree education and a minimum of 2 years of HVAC-related experience.
• Familiarity with OSHA and NEC standards.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Virginia HVAC Journeyman, Master, or Contractor License is a plus.
• Strong electrical experience and training in industrial equipment repair.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Word and Excel (with formula use).
• Strong safety and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on systems such as HVAC units, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, and related equipment.
• Assist with installation of new equipment.
• General shop upkeep, cleaning, and organization aligned with 6S standards.
