Facilities Technician 5 - HVAC / DDC / FMS Job Summary: Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial HVAC systems following blueprints, design specifications and manufacturer's instructions. Monitor and repair any problems in all buildings and clean rooms, including positive pressure and ventilation filtrations. Perform general commercial construction, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, concrete, remodeling, and landscaping on company property. Essential Functions: Install new HVAC systems. Maintain all HVAC climate controls, chiller systems, boiler systems, humidification, and di-humidification systems and software. Maintain proper pressure and ventilation in all buildings and clean rooms across the campus. Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly preventive maintenance on all life support equipment systems throughout the campus. Maintain all company buildings, property, and utilities. Provide connection points and changes to life support systems. Responsible for all specialized high-tech utilities and systems, e.g., D.I. water systems, City and tempered water systems, high-purity HVAC filters, WWT plants and drain systems, liquid N2, CDA, process vacuum, house vacuum, glycol cooling loops, wet scrubber exhaust systems, and Purafil exhaust systems. Responsible for all clean room fabrications, e.g., unistrut framing, Dibond Sheeting, gasket ceiling grid systems, CR Lights, FFUs and ESD welded flooring. Maintaining proper documentation for areas of responsibility, PM and DDC software systems Alerton, Finstack, Limble, etc. Ensure compliance with related codes and standards. (prevent safety issues) Perform general construction projects and snow removal. Update and maintain all preventative maintenance software equipment logs, etc. Other related duties as assigned.
