About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring a Facilities Tech in Fremont, CA. As a Facilities Tech, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on various properties, such as fixing CCTV cameras, network connections, making network cables, replacing light bulbs, building furniture and equipment, and pulling cables. You will also safely operate equipment such as a forklift or lift, and assist other tradespeople with more complex projects, such as electrical wiring, HVAC installation, plumbing, or carpentry work. You will report any major issues or damages that require further attention or professional intervention. The role requires the ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, while always following safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

Good knowledge of different tools and equipment.
Basic skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Ability to read and follow instructions and blueprints.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
