About The Position

Upkeep, repair, and preventative action on all aspects of buildings, grounds, and machinery. Responsible for maintaining a given set of buildings to a high level of cleanliness and operational order. Facilities operations background with 3-5 years' experience in grounds and building maintenance. Excellent writing and communication skills. Monitor and ensure location is maintained up to standard and make recommendations to improve the appearance and safety of the location. Assisting in employee moves within designated buildings and furniture installation reconfiguration. Assist in general office support functions to include noting any office or building deficiencies, fire hazards or other common interior/exterior building problems. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly building inspections with a high attention to detail to identify necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance and timely repairs in the areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, food and beverage equipment, seating, and all related building components. Provide constant attention to ensure building emergency systems are operational through in-house inspections and vendor maintenance contracts. Report all facility issues that are not immediately repairable to the Facilities Manager. Follow maintenance and repair methods for all building components. Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Complete all other functions and assignments as assigned by the Facilities Manager (where applicable). Requirements

  • Facilities operations background with 3-5 years' experience in grounds and building maintenance
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Work unsupervised or as a valuable team member
  • Accept as well as deliver direction to and from others
  • Read, interpret, understand, and generate, technical manuals, blueprints, schematic diagrams and computer input and output diagrams
  • Work safely with ladders, all lifts, chemicals/cleaning materials, and all power and hand tools
  • Perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely
  • Understand and explain to others, proper and safe sequence of operation on various machinery
  • Identify and take appropriate action on plant safety issues and concerns
  • 3-5 years' experience working in manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and by telephone
  • Requires composure and ability to prioritize and handle many urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality
