Job Description Summary The Facility Technician is responsible for keeping the facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Facility Technician will be required to perform a wide variety of tasks around the Plant Site.

Requirements

High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
1 – 3 years Facility experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation.
Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting, Power Washing, Scrubber knowledge
Must have knowledge of basic hand tools.
Must be able to perform basic math.
Must be able to read and follow written instruction.
Experience with a CMMS such as MP2 or Maximo.
Learning on the Fly, Problem Solving, Interpersonal Savvy

Responsibilities

Performs routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage including walls, doors and windows, plumbing repairs with a wide variety of facility structure in a GMP environment.
Accomplish routine PMs through a CMMS program.
Power Wash the Plant and Plant Equipment to support goals for the site.
Painting where the infrastructure dictates need due to fading, chipping or repairs.
Run and Train on scrubber equipment for site cleanliness.
Interfaces with OEM’s and Vendors to accomplish need at hand.
Accurately completes all work performed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs), including proper documentation.
Completes work orders using CMMS (Maximo) system.
Performs repairs and modifications as directed by Facility Supervisors and Plant Management.
Supports and participates in training programs.
Keep the Facility Supervisors aware of job status.
Supports site safety programs.
Responsible for good housekeeping in the shop and at the job site.
Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), full face respirator, hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, goggles, boots, steel –toe shoes, gloves, chemical resistant aprons and suits, and other personal protective equipment deemed necessary by EHS, leadership team, corporate or safety guidelines for each job task.
Supports the PM/PdM program by ensuring a high quality of workmanship.
Accurately enters all required information on work orders.
Recognize problems independently and troubleshoots malfunctioning processes without direct supervision.
