About the Role We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring all CODA locations are safe, well-maintained, and operating smoothly. You'll be traveling to various sites to perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance. Whether you're patching drywall, maintaining HVAC systems, or working with vendors on repairs, you'll be an essential contributor to our healing environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in building maintenance or facilities technician role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license
  • Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Competency with Outlook and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Travel to agency sites to perform routine maintenance and repairs
  • Patch, paint, replace locks, maintain lighting, and support general building upkeep
  • Diagnose and repair minor plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical issues
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and support transportation readiness
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repair and inspection needs
  • Manage tools, materials, and inventory to minimize repair time
  • Respond to facilities work orders and ensure timely follow-up
  • Uphold safety and environmental standards in all maintenance activities
  • Support after-hours emergency response when needed
