Responsible for performing skilled maintenance work in the facility and assists in planning work with contractors to complete planned maintenance. Role requires performing maintenance tasks in electrical, heating, air conditioning and general plant operations. Progression in this role will be determined by years of experience, electrical and mechanical skills, and leadership in the plant. Performs preventative maintenance on building systems to include electrical, plumbing mechanical repairs. Performs utility rounds of all plant engineering equipment to assure they are within the required parameters and making repairs as needed. Implements cost savings initiatives to upgrade and repair facilities lighting systems, continuous improvement, and cost savings initiatives. Supports Wastewater Treatment Plant maintenance and operations to assure compliance with the city water permit. Assists supervisors with planning and scheduling preventative maintenance work with local contractors on compliance programs. Train and develop incoming technical team on maintaining a safe work environment on production floor through autonomous maintenance. Repairs and maintains facilities systems, to include electric systems, automated hygienic doors, sprinkler systems, sensors, and related hardware.
