About The Position
Drive a company vehicle from store to store to maintain and perform minor repairs on HVAC, act as a handyman for minor store repairs, plumbing, and electrical issues. Help maintain the Facilities Warehouse and attend/participate in Facility Meetings. Be available to assist the Field in emergency situations. This role involves driving to various locations, managing truck inventory, performing repairs as directed by the Facilities Manager, filing paperwork, performing equipment inspections, and occasionally assisting as an office tech. The position also requires participation in team-building activities, continued education training, and representing the company professionally.
Requirements
- GED or equivalent.
- Frequent bending, twisting, walking, reaching, lifting to 50 pounds.
- Walks and stands entire shift on tile floor.
- Administrative skills.
- Interacts verbally with customers and employees in a professional and friendly way.
- Taking and giving direction.
- Good personal hygiene.

- Working in and outside environment that could include extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and other harsh environments.
- Candidate must be proficient in 3 or more areas of the following: Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing, Knowledge of Lighting, Power systems and Energy consumption, Knowledge of Communication systems, Knowledge of basic Interior and Exterior building maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle from store to store to maintain and perform minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
- Act as a handyman for minor store repairs.
- Help maintain the Facilities Warehouse.
- Attend and participate in Facility Meetings.
- Be available to assist the Field in emergency situations.
- Manage truck inventory and maintain the company vehicle.
- Perform repairs on facility issues in stores as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- File and maintain paperwork for inventory, pay card, credit card, and PM compliance.
- Perform inspections of equipment for operations via Yoobic App or applicable tracking platforms.
- Occasionally work in the office as an office tech as needed.
- Participate in team-building activities and continued education training.
- Represent Jacks in a professional manner.
- Maintain HVAC and plumbing needs – roof top units (RTU’s), restrooms.
- Maintain electrical systems.
- Maintain interior and exterior of the building.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance checks requiring technical knowledge.
- Perform administrative duties utilizing the Quick Base system.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.
- Protect company assets.
- Handle emergencies.
- Maintain inventory accountability.
- Maintain security.
- Uphold company policy and procedures.
- Maintain interior of building - Flooring, plumbing, paint, patch, and misc. repairs.
- Maintain exterior of building, sidewalk maintenance, parking lot maintenance, painting, lighting.
- Replace filters and light bulbs as requested.
- Maintain lighting and plumbing equipment - light bulbs, sinks, faucets etc.
- Perform PM checks as assigned.
- Identify opportunities to impact energy consumption.
- Adhere to Facility Dress Code (uniform shirts provided).
