About The Position

Facilities Tech III maintains and repairs heating, cooling, electrical, television, plumbing and telephone systems and assists with emergency situations as needed. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repair duties on all building mechanical systems, equipment and tools, and operating life safety systems. The position requires meeting attendance guidelines and adhering to departmental and company policies.

Requirements

Minimum of Four years experience in two of the following areas: heating, cooling, electrical, television, plumbing or telephone service.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Able to work in extreme temperatures.
Able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
Presents a well-groomed appearance.
Able to respond to aural cues in full audible range in high noise conditions.
Able to respond to visual cues and possess color perception.
Able to stoop, bend, jump, carry heavy loads, and run on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
Able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
Able to quickly maneuver around casino and hotel areas.
Able to tolerate secondhand smoke.
Possess coordination and dexterity to work with power and hand tools, such as, drills, electric saws, hammers, sewer snakes, etc.
Able to think clearly and respond calmly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance and repair duties on all building mechanical systems, equipment and tools.
Operates life safety systems, maintenance and repair in public areas and guest rooms.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies.
Assists with emergency situations as needed.
Learns and retains locations, operation and repair procedures of the property’s equipment, mechanical systems and life safety systems.
