About The Position

Busch’s is looking for a Facilities Tech II to join their family-owned Michigan team. This role is responsible for ensuring all equipment and facilities are kept in good working condition through routine and proper maintenance. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Five or more years in a related industry
  • Proficient maintenance and repair skills; mechanically inclined
  • Database experience for maintenance type programs
  • Adaptable to new logic and processes
  • Can interpret schematics, machine diagrams, and blue prints
  • Commercial Drivers License Class A (CDLA)
  • Equipment certification-lift, hi-lo, forklift and pallet jack
  • OSHA 10 hour/First Aide CPR
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are kept in good working condition through routine and proper maintenance, including refrigeration and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing fixtures and lines, mechanical equipment and carpentry work to ensure safety and compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and operating equipment and building systems throughout various stores.
  • Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with equipment specifications
  • Build to and inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Recommend modifications and requirement changes to facilitate completion of assigned tasks.
  • Assist with the set up and remodeling of Busch’s facilities.
  • Install fixtures and assemble equipment.
  • Transport equipment to and from job sites.
  • Sources materials and small equipment
  • Respond off hours to emergency situations on a rotating schedule
  • Learn how to transport and set up generator in emergencies
  • Keeps truck, equipment, tools and trailer equipment in an organized, clean and good working condition
  • Has good working knowledge of power and small tools
  • Works a steady pace and completes task timely
  • Keeps key managers appraised of issues as it relates to equipment and building systems
  • Minimizes the impact of interruptions to guest service.
  • Participates in potential point (Brand Integrity Success Program)
  • Works in or out of a team environment
  • Follows safety guidelines per MIOSHA General Industry, state and local laws
  • Build strong working relationships with guests, vendors and associates.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state of the art practices and networking.
  • Consistently follow Busch’s policies and procedures.
