Job PurposeCoordinates the facilities custodial staff in maintaining the cleanliness of all Suwanee facilities. Provides support during maintenance and repair tasks, coordinates and documents office reconfigurations, and is responsible for the administrative maintenance of security systems. Supports maintenance staff in the implementation of large maintenance tasks and projectsEssential Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1-2 years industrial production
  • Supervisory experience: 1-2 years
  • Skills:
  • Ability to read at high school level
  • Ability to perform math skills at high school level (fractions, basic algebra and basic geometry)
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and procure materials
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to change work priorities as required with minimum supervision
  • Working knowledge in the safe use and application of chemicals as applicable, but not limited to, janitorial, landscape and pest control functions
  • Experience in the planning, layout and assembly of modular office systems
  • Basic knowledge in the field of civil, structural, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
  • Experience in the application and safe use of janitorial and maintenance related hand and power tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and all levels of management
  • Experience in the safe operation of rolling stock (forklifts, stock pickers, trucks, etc.)
  • Experience in a position requiring immediate decision making involving the safety and security of personnel in administrative and production type buildings
  • Capable of responding to 24/7 after-hours call outs related to the safety and security of personnel and facilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Intermediate MS Office and Visio experience
  • Ability to pass a company vehicle insurance and security background check.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and coordinates contractors performing building custodial maintenance
  • Monitor rolling stock use and schedules preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Provides administrative support for security systems access
  • Promote and assist in training new facilities staff members and contractors in company related safety policies
  • Coordinate daily, weekly and yearly work of custodial staff and contractors
  • Monitor landscape, grounds, and buildings and takes appropriate actions to maintain a professional appearance
  • Monitor interior building cleanliness, sanitary conditions and schedules appropriate tasks to maintain a safe, sanitary working environment
  • Monitor building environmental systems for proper functionally (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, etc.)
  • Assure that office and cubical electrical systems are properly used (120V AC utility, UPS and stand-by systems)
  • Plan and schedule moves/relocation of employees. Coordinate the same with other departments, recommending times and dates
  • Maintain Visio drawings of building occupancy locations including office/cubical assignments and associated electrical circuits
  • Design modifications to modular office systems (cubical), order materials in SAP, and coordinate changes
  • Maintain an inventory of spare on-site office furniture, order new office furniture as approved by the appropriate authorities
  • Monitor and assist in the storage, retrieval and disposal of confidential records/documents
  • Order and maintain JIT stock levels for routine maintenance, security, office, janitorial, lunchroom consumables
  • Maintain MSDS hard copy and electronic databases
  • Maintain and update company safety programs and coordinate/schedule training including, but not limited to MSDS, First Aid/CPR, fire extinguisher, safety stations, etc. per instructions from management.
  • Serve as emergency on-call alternate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Perform other maintenance responsibilities as directed
