This position is responsible for the initiation and maintenance of inventory controls, policies, procedures and systems to achieve accurate financial inventory information. Duties and Responsibilities: Prioritize, plan, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of Facilities staff. Ensure each job is completed and follow up with the requester. Create purchase orders for parts and materials needed, monitor and control spare inventory stock Assist in selecting outside contractors. Source vendors for parts and material needed for Facilities and other departments. Maintain and update all facility maintenance records. Supervise outside contractors for routine maintenance work per contract. Assist with modifying and maintaining company improvement programs such as the recycling program. Maintain records of Facilities work order, and general incident reports. Train facilities staff as well as other departments in facility maintenance, safety methods, procedures, and techniques. Perform other duties as assigned.
