About The Position

The Facilities Specialist works as a member of the facilities group responsible for completion of work orders tasks, planned and unplanned maintenance & repairs. Works with NN internal operations team and manage external service contractors as needed. Coordinate with facilities manager for the scheduling and management of support contractors entering the building. The Boulder Site is home to the specialized technical operations/CMC team for oligonucleotides and RNAi therapeutics. The CMC team works alongside Quality, Regulatory, Technical Operations and RNAi Early Development professionals at our Boulder, Colorado facility and works closely with our teams in Lexington, Massachusetts. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in facility maintenance

Nice To Haves

  • Equivalent experience requirements for advanced degrees would be an Associate's degree with 1+ years of experience
  • Certificate program for facilities, or equivalent work experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Works as a member of the facilities group responsible for completion of work orders tasks, planned and unplanned maintenance & repairs.
  • Works with NN internal operations team and manage external service contractors as needed.
  • Coordinate with facilities manager for the scheduling and management of support contractors entering the building.
  • Facilities specialist assists Facilities and Lab Managers in the scheduling of preventative maintenance agreements
  • Assist with managing internal facilities systems, support EH&S, Engineering and Lab Support teams
  • Be able to troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment including HVAC, Plumbing, Hoods and other equipment
  • Coordinate with facilities managers on all maintenance services with external vendors and executing repairs for building operations; independently responsible from inception to resolution on all issues in a timely fashion
  • Communications to facilities manager based onsite vendors for any repairs and maintenance
  • Familiar with R&D (non-GxP) laboratory practices as related to the tasks being performed
  • Required to assist the lab manager, and facilities manager as contract engineers come in to maintain lab equipment
  • Help manage facilities software like the security system, work order system, BAS system, etc.
  • Perform other related duties as required
