About The Position

- The Facilities Specialist Lead at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and operations of the organization's facilities. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and meet the needs of staff and clients, while adhering to regulatory standards and optimizing resource utilization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in facility management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple facilities and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal operation and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving operational excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficient in the use of facility management software and tools, with a solid understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to facility management in a healthcare environment.

  • Experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the facilities team in daily operations and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee repair, maintenance, and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services, including cleaning, security, and landscaping.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and enhance the functionality of facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility operations and maintenance activities.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for facilities staff to enhance skills and performance.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and effectively communicated to staff.
