About The Position

The Facilities Specialist Lead completes all duty assignments to maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment of all LifeStream facilities in relation to life safety, engineering and maintenance through the effective utilization of training, working hours, equipment and materials. This role involves developing working relationships with other program managers, supervisors, and staff to ensure smooth operations without interrupting client activities. The lead must be able to accurately diagnose and perform basic repairs to the Center's facilities in a timely manner and complete all required documentation related to facility maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 8 years related experience with comprehensive knowledge of maintenance
  • Journeymen level skill set in HVAC, Mechanical, and Fabrication, Plumbing or any major area in which the department regularly outsources to outside vendor to complete.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving operational excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficient in the use of facility management software and tools, with a solid understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to facility management in a healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade School training preferred
  • Experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the facilities team in daily operations and maintenance tasks.

  • Develop a working relationship with all other program managers, supervisors and staff to provide the necessary working relationship and cooperation needed so as not to interrupt or interfere with client activities.
  • Must have the ability to accurately diagnose and provide basic repair to Center’s facilities in a timely manner.
  • Understands and accurately completes required documentation in relation to maintenance of all the Center’s facilities.
