About The Position

Springs Charter Schools is hiring a Facilities Site Technician for the Riverside Student Center. The role contributes to the functionality, safety, and security of the campus by responding to Trouble Ticket work orders and completing routine facility maintenance and repairs. Tasks include painting, minor plumbing and electrical work, carpentry, furniture assembly, asset relocation, and repairs, as well as actively patrolling and maintaining a secure campus.

The assigned level (I or II) will be communicated during onboarding and depends on the scope and complexity of the work, the level of independence, and the candidate’s education and experience. Some projects may require flexibility to complete work before or after standard business hours. A competency test is part of the hiring process. Springs Charter Schools follows applicable state and local health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on commercial buildings.
• Strong ability to use construction tools.
• Knowledge of minor plumbing and electrical work.
• Knowledge and understanding of job-related safety requirements.
• Work boots are required.

• Upload transcripts if education is required or claimed on the application; transcripts are needed before hire and are used to determine salary placement.
• Pass a competency test as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Trouble Ticket work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance, including painting, minor plumbing and electrical work, and carpentry.
• Assemble furniture, relocate assets, and perform repairs.
• Actively patrol and help maintain a secure campus.
