About The Position

The Facilities Shop Clerk is responsible for maintaining records of all engineering materials and equipment in a database, managing stocking, inventory, and ordering of parts, materials, and equipment. This role also ensures that all materials and equipment used for specific job assignments are properly assessed. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

3+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Warehouse experience in a hotel or industrial complex) preferred
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Keep records of all materials and equipment within the Engineering Services department warehouse and database
Order, inventory, and stock all materials and equipment required by Engineering Services department
Advise Supervisor, Manager, and Director of any shortages of materials essential to the operation of Engineering Services
Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all departments
