About The Position

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Shift Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of maintenance activities. As the Facilities Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to company and departmental policies, procedures, and goals. This hands-on position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and well-functioning environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of facilities/maintenance supervisory or managerial experience.
Strong technical knowledge of all building systems.
Familiarity with health and safety practices and regulations.
Technical skills or working knowledge of crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems.
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal skills.
Sound judgment, organizational skills, and ability to perform well under pressure.
Ability to read blueprints.
Understanding and ensuring compliance with ADA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
Valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License.

Nice To Haves

Professional certifications or proven experience in Commercial/Industrial buildings preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops a comprehensive annual preventive maintenance schedule for all systems and equipment.
Ensures the training library is up-to-date and conducts regular reviews.
Manages staffing levels through accurate manpower planning and projection of future requirements.
Provides hands-on leadership during shifts, working closely with team members.
Ensures proper training on life systems, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
Conducts monthly team member meetings to address concerns, review policies, and build teamwork.
Oversees new team member orientation on company and departmental policies and job duties.
Maintains equipment, systems, and facilities in compliance with safety regulations.
Monitors inventory and oversees the completion of work orders efficiently and accurately.
Fills in for the Manager during their absence.
