About The Position

Physicians East, P.A. is a team of skilled healthcare professionals united to meet the challenge of delivering quality, cost-efficient, comprehensive healthcare to the people of Eastern North Carolina. We are looking for an employee that can perform maintenance as requested by work orders, maintain all company vehicles, and work with Facilities Services Manager as a backup for maintenance task at all Physicians East properties.

Requirements

Must Live within 20 miles of Physicians East’s main campus on Arlington Blvd.
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
Knowledge in general maintenance in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, flooring, etc
Comprehend and comply with all HIPPA, OHSA, and other local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to the operations of medical facilities.

Responsibilities

Assists the Facilities Service Technician II or Facilities Services Manager
Completion of work orders requesting assistance as needed
Ability to trouble shoot and repair various trades. (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Flooring, etc.)
Routine inspections of Life Safety Equipment (Emergency and Egress lighting, Elevators, etc.)
Operating and maintaining company owned vehicles
Assists in the relocation or setup of offices and furniture.
Takes after hours call for maintenance and Fire System emergencies
Maintain valid North Carolina Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Ability to operate computers, phones, tablets efficiently and effectively
Ability to communicate effectively.
All other duties as assigned by superior Technicians or Managers
