Dominion Energy is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to manage major capital projects related to Facilities construction. This includes new construction of commercial and operating facilities, greenfield construction, full renovations of existing buildings, and other projects supporting corporate and business unit operations. The role involves providing business development support, site development, permitting support, scope development, contract negotiations, managing architectural and engineering contracts, construction contracts, construction activities, commissioning, and transition to commercial operation. The position requires applying relevant building construction and engineering principles in civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural technologies. The project manager will manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules, coordinating with all affected groups, and preparing scopes of work and cost estimates. Ensuring facility designs align with building codes and regulatory agencies, working with Procurement to minimize costs, and analyzing alternative solutions for value maximization are also key responsibilities. The role involves tracking financial activity, reviewing contracts, submittents, and change orders, and ensuring contractors adhere to agreements and safety protocols. Leading diverse stakeholder teams, ensuring site safety and environmental compliance, responding to contractor performance issues, managing payment and contractual decisions, resolving customer concerns, and coordinating project hand-offs to Operations & Maintenance are critical. The position also supports strategic planning, including securing funding through business cases and presentations. A Level III Project Manager will mentor junior team members. Non-Dominion Energy Workers may report to all positions. This position can be filled at a Facilities Project Manager I, II, or III level based on candidate qualifications.
