About The Position

Responsible for project planning and execution of medium-to-large-sized facilities projects. Includes developing and managing project scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate project planning and execution across business functions and internal/external service providers to ensure satisfactory project delivery.

Requirements

• Associate degree in facilities management, construction, or engineering related field with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and general PC skills required
• Thorough understanding of building codes
• Understanding and adhering to established organizational policies
• Ability to accomplish work with minimal direct supervision
• Proficient communication skills - written and verbal

• Ability to work collaboratively across business functions to plan and execute facility projects.
• Provide direction to internal and external service providers to properly plan and execute defined project scope.

Responsibilities

• Project planning including scope definition, establishing project budget and preparation and approval of capital expenditure request documents.
• Project management during execution phase of planned projects, including post-project documentation
• Provide technical and project liaison support to assigned remote locations
• Conduct facility conditional assessments, determining building and support infrastructure condition and recommend required action items
• Maintain and/or update facility documentation database(s) as assigned by manager/supervisor
• Maintain / refresh technical knowledge of regulatory (building codes) and insurance requirement (FM Global)
• Support annual department capital and expense budgeting exercises
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
