About The Position

The Facilities Policy Procedures Manager is responsible for creating, maintaining, updating, and retiring procedures within the CMMS. This role involves developing and maintaining consistent, well-constructed maintenance procedures and support documents that comply with relevant codes and regulations. The manager will create supplemental flow diagrams and pictorial documents to clarify maintenance procedures, implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies to extend asset life and minimize service interruptions, and align maintenance and regulatory procedures across the enterprise for consistency. Additionally, the role requires regular review of maintenance data to ensure accurate procedures and schedules are assigned to assets, close collaboration with the Enterprise Regulatory team, and effective communication with other enterprise departments and divisions. The manager will also oversee special projects as directed by Facilities leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent knowledge.
• 5 years as facilities professional in a healthcare setting, OR 5 years' experience in process improvement and consulting for healthcare or healthcare related industry required.
• Solid understanding of all relevant regulatory codes, environmental compliance, energy management, computerized maintenance management systems, industry safety requirements and best practices, and healthcare accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Project leadership experience on large projects.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong skills in project planning and prioritization.
• Good problem determination skills.
• Must be competent working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Bachelor's Degree in Business; or equivalent degree.
• CHFM preferred.
• 8 years as facilities professional in a healthcare setting, OR 8 years' experience in process improvement and consulting for healthcare or healthcare related industry preferred.
• Expert knowledge of relevant CMS, RCM, TJC, DNV, and NFPA regulatory codes and requirements.

• Aligning maintenance and regulatory procedures across the enterprise for consistency.
• Reviewing maintenance data regularly to ensure accurate procedures and schedules are assigned to assets.
• Collaborating closely with the Enterprise Regulatory team to ensure regulatory procedures are properly followed.
• Working cooperatively with other enterprise departments and divisions.
• Assuring effective communication occurs between their departments and others within the enterprise.
• Implementing and overseeing special projects as directed by the Facilities leadership.
