Preferred locations: St. Petersburg, Ft. Lauderdale or Baltimore. About the Department The Corporate Real Estate Planning and Design team manages Franklin Templeton’s global office portfolio to ensure welcoming, functional, and safe workplaces. The team partners closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to strategically manage the real estate footprint. Working here means joining a service-driven team that plays a critical role in enhancing the overall workplace experience for employees and visitors across all locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree PLUS 5 (five) years’ experience in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Expertise in workplace space planning, including test fits and furniture layouts
  • Experience across all phases of workplace projects (programming, SD, DD, CD, CA)
  • Experience with furniture specification and procurement
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and graphic)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and drawings
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of global planning and design strategies by aligning workplace solutions with business objectives.
  • Lead and support space planning initiatives, translating business needs into efficient, functional, and well-designed environments.
  • Ensure high-quality, compliant design outcomes that meet corporate standards, life safety, and accessibility requirements.
  • Support the execution of complex, multi-region projects from concept through construction, including stakeholder coordination and approvals.
  • Drive operational efficiency through effective furniture planning, asset management, and accurate portfolio data tracking.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver consistent, scalable design solutions across the portfolio.
