About The Position

As our Facilities Ops Support Coordinator, you will serve as a vital administrative partner within our Plant Operations department at Mercy Medical Center Redding. You will act as the key site administrator for our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), playing a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance for Environment of Care (EOC), safety programs, and facility management documentation. Every day you will manage the heartbeat of our facility operations by monitoring work order completion rates, dispatching engineering staff, and maintaining accurate asset logs, permits, and licensing records. You will oversee daily administrative workflows, including time-keeping system oversight, invoice tracking, and meeting coordination for project committees. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, combined with a strong understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, and OSHA regulatory standards. Supports the Director of Facilities in the management of Engineering, EOC, Safety, and Project Management. Assists Director in achieving performance goals, including: planning, defining roles and responsibilities, task delegation and performance management. Responsible for regulatory compliance documentation. Ensures completion and accuracy of documentation for all regulatory testing. Site Administrator for Facilities work order system. Creates/maintains assets, procedures, PMs, and work orders within the system. Works directly with National Real Estate regarding systems changes. Monitors preventative maintenance and work order completion rates to align with monthly goals.

Requirements

  • Associates degree upon hire or 3 years related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Strong understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC) regulatory standards.
  • Strong understanding of CMS regulatory standards.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulatory standards.
