About The Position

The Facilities Operator's basic function is to perform basic manual labor tasks in waste removal from engine lines and related areas. This role involves operating a cardboard baler and associated tools and equipment, and assisting Maintenance personnel in various tasks. The position is located in Hattiesburg, MS, and operates on the 1st Shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional overtime including Saturdays. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• External – Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Internal – Minimum 1 year of relevant and proficient work experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• PIV Experience
• Ability to Stand, Walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS occasionally

Responsibilities

• Operate cardboard baler, and related equipment
• Follow verbal work instructions
• Verify safety procedures and protocols are followed
• Use power tools, hand tools, and other special equipment as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Understand basic functions of assembly line and processes
• Understand proper use of tools and equipment to support the assembly lines
• Understand capabilities and limitations of power tools
• Report to work area by shift start up time
