Join our dynamic team as an Operations Facilities Manager overseeing an impressive portfolio of over 100 critical facilities totaling nearly 2 million square feet across North St. Louis and Eastern Missouri. You'll lead site operations and staff while driving innovation in service delivery, cost optimization, and exceptional facility experiences for our valued client. This exciting role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, offering 25-30% travel to diverse locations including central offices and specialized work centers housing mission-critical equipment, with a company vehicle provided for seamless travel between sites. You'll partner with suppliers, implement cutting-edge processes, and shape the future of facilities management while maintaining JLL's renowned standards of excellence. Requirements

  • 3+ years of program management experience overseeing custodial, landscaping, waste management, and pest control services in commercial facilities
  • Technical expertise in HVAC, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, and critical environment operations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing facility operations teams and service programs
  • Strong financial management skills with proven ability to oversee budgets and operational expenses
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to travel between multiple facility locations
  • Physical Work Requirements Physical Demands – Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, frequently climb/bend/kneel/stoop, work from heights up to 30 feet on ladders, and extend overhead while performing maintenance tasks
  • Environmental Conditions – Capable of working in adverse conditions including extreme temperatures (hot/cold) and driving for extended periods between facility locations
  • Office & Administrative Tasks – Ability to sit and type for extended periods to complete reporting, documentation, and administrative responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Operations & Maintenance Leadership – Provide strategic direction for efficient operations and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety systems while conducting planned site inspections to ensure quality service delivery and user satisfaction
  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Analyze trends and utilize data analytics to proactively address issues, communicate solutions effectively, and interface successfully with client senior management, vendors, and all organizational levels
  • Project Commissioning & Startup Management – Develop and implement comprehensive startup plans and schedules, coordinate internal disciplines and vendors, ensure all PTPs and job plans are in place, and secure OAT/FAT certificates and required manufacturer documentation
  • Vendor Management & Cost Optimization – Monitor work requests, hold vendors accountable for contract scope delivery, continuously improve service quality while reducing costs, and troubleshoot service issues to raise performance standards
  • Client Relationship & Satisfaction – Develop positive client relationships, provide conflict resolution and solution analysis, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and resolve quality issues or service complaints promptly
  • Compliance & Quality Control – Manage contract compliance and JLL Engineering compliance programs, ensure adherence to applicable codes and specifications, and maintain standards per company policies and federal/state regulations
  • Budget Management & Reporting – Prepare detailed operational budgets and generate regular and ad-hoc reports while completing any additional duties and tasks as assigned to support facility operations
